FRONT PANEL
- The CANON MIC INPUT features a balanced preamplifier prepared for dynamic microphones and a volume control.
- The MIC VOLUME CONTROL adjusts the microphone level that is sent to the power amplifiers.
- The INSTRUMENT INPUT Plug TS ¼ Plug TS features a 150K input impedance Jfet preamp.
To the right of this input is a 3-position Switch that allows to choose the following preset sound curves.- With the Switch to the left the sound is accentuated in Bass and Treble frequencies. This is an excellent curve for acoustic box guitars or instruments where very good sonority is required.
- With the Switch to the right there is an accentuation in the middle frequencies, achieving a more defined sound. Electric guitars looking for more strident sounds get along very well with this setting.
- With the Switch in the center there is no tonal notation. In all 3 cases you can also adjust the tone control to obtain different variations.
- The INSTRUMENT VOLUME CONTROL adjusts the instrument level that is sent to the speakers.
- The single knob TONE CONTROL is simple to use and allows you to minimize the high frequencies when it is all the way to the left or attenuate the low frequencies when it is all the way to the right. In the center positions are the middle steps in between. In this model, the tone control acts on both inputs.
- The STEREO AUXILIARY INPUT TRS ¼ Plug is perfect for playing tracks from a cell phone, Mp3 player, tablet, etc. This is the only input that allows discriminating the LEFT and RIGHT channels of the equipment and does not have any type of preamplification. The Mic Canon input and the instrument input are reproduced on both speakers as they are mono signals, while the stereo auxiliary input can differentiate them! With a Stereo Miniplug to Stereo Plug cable you can connect different sources (PC, cell phones, keyboards, etc.) and sound in “STEREO”. In case the connected signal is mono, it will sound only in the left speaker, unless you place the Mono/Stereo switch in the “Mono” position and thus add the mono input in both speakers.
- The complete signal, before entering the two power amplifiers, is treated with two peak limiters. These act on high output levels limiting the signal peaks in a smooth way avoiding exaggerated output distortions and protecting the drivers against abrupt variations.
REAR PANEL
- The equipment has a STEREO LINE output TRS plug that maintains the stereo separation of the equipment. It is ideal for routing sound to a console or other equipment while maintaining the stereo sound of the unit as long as a stereo signal is fed to the aux input!
- Two 9V OUTPUTS (Positive to center) are available to power effect pedals, wireless bases, etc. Between the 2 outputs you can draw a maximum current of 800mA which is more than enough for most pedals. Analog pedals (OverDrive, Distortion, etc) are around 30mA max. Digital or modulated pedals (Reverb, Delay, Chorus, etc) are around 100mA max, while more complete digital pedals or Looperas are above 300mA max current. It should be noted that some digital pedals tend to generate “digital noise” towards the source that feeds them (in this case it would be the internal battery of the equipment) and in some cases it can cause annoying noises while in other cases it is barely perceptible.
- A 12v INPUT allows the equipment to be powered from an external source or battery if necessary. In the event that the internal battery of the equipment is not charged, and there is no electrical power available, it is also possible to operate the equipment from an external power supply or battery (for example from a car battery). The input signal level accepted is between 12v and 18v Max. With an input voltage between 17v and 18v it is possible to charge the internal battery of the equipment!
OPTIONAL CUSTOMIZATIONS AVAILABLES
The Pro-30 Acoustic 2×6″ model has some customizations available on request. This is what we call SS-PRO CUSTOMIZED, where you can customize your equipment to your liking, both in aesthetic terms and in additions or modifications. These are some of the customizations available for this model:

- 110/220 switch: the standard model has the option of operating connected to the 220v mains. This voltage is also used to charge the unit’s internal battery. This switch allows you to choose between the two voltages so you can use it in countries that work with 110v.
- Personalized front grille: the front grille, which is black, can be personalized to your liking! Any type of design, image, logo, etc. and in any color can be sublimated onto the front grille. You can send us your image by e-mail and we’ll send you a preview of how it would look installed on the model you want. Operation of the 9v Outputs:
The 9v outputs (Positive to the center) of the unit allows you to connect up to 2 effect pedals or wireless base that works with this voltage.
Originally this model was developed for a keyboardist and vocalist (hence the Mic input and the stereo aux input for the keyboard) where 9v power was taken for the keyboard and a wireless base. Generally keyboards and wireless docks work with “Positive to center” polarity, hence this type of connection! In the case of powering an effects pedal, these mostly work with “Negative to Center” polarity, so it is necessary to use an “Inverted Cable”.
Feeding your pedals from these outputs allows you to save 9v batteries. The consumption of these, in general, have very little influence on the final autonomy of the equipment due to their average consumption.
