About the Gong
Gong is a fundamental piece in every yoga, meditation or therapeutic center. Although there are more and more people who acquire it for personal use. The sound of the gong creates a deep relaxation, releasing the torrent of thoughts that the mind discharges, and stimulates the glandular system towards a higher level of functioning.
These handcrafted gongs are symphonic, in which we seek to find the most beautiful sound.
The metals with which all gongs are manufactured are copper, zinc and nickel in different proportions.
“The gong is very simple. It’s an intervibratory system. It’s the sound of Creativity itself. The one who plays the gong, touches the Universe. Gong is not an ordinary thing to play. From him came all the music, all the sounds and all the words. The sound of the gong is the core of the Word. The gong is not a musical instrument or a drum. The gong is a beautiful reinforced vibration. It’s like a multitude of strings, like you’re playing with a million strings. Gong is the only tool with which you can produce this combination of spatial vibrations.”

Recommendations for use
- Every so often check that the rope is not worn, especially in the knot area.
- If possible, avoid touching the Gong and the mallet’s head with your hands. If you’ve done it, the faster you clean it, the easier it is to get the stain out.
- It’s always best to keep your Gong covered when you don’t use it!.
- You can clean it with a damp cotton cloth and then rub it with another dry cotton cloth until moisture is removed.
- In case of severe stains, or if you notice that with the water was not enough, you can use a lustrameales as less abrasive as possible, avoiding passing it through the burned surface and the center.
